3 MONEY-SAVING TRAVEL TACTICS I USE …

  1. I never pay full price for gear. I only shop at discount online gear shops.
  2. I always shop around for flights. First I’ll use a metasearch like Skyscanner to get general route ideas. Then I’ll look at lower-cost local carriers that don’t show up in search. If I’m having trouble finding a good deal, I’ll often pass the job along to FlightFox.
  3. I’ll always take public rail transit when it’s convenient. This not only saves money but also helps to avoid the terrible traffic that plagues so many cities around the world.

3 WAYS THAT I HAVE FUN WHILE TRAVELING …

  1. Getting lost
  2. Wandering aimlessly
  3. Trying weird local foods that I’ve never heard of

8 WORD (OR LESS) TRAVEL MANTRA …
