favorite cheap eat …

After having visited Chichen Itza, we were taken to a hole-in-the-wall local place in Valladolid, Mexico called Oasis Familar. Order a large fresh-squeezed fruit smoothie, try out their appetizers, and dig into a half-portion platter of food. We couldn’t finish all of the food brought out, even with five people! I promise that you will leave incredibly stuffed. The best part? The total was $22 USD including tip for all of us.

recent discovery …

I decided to delve a bit into America’s history after having returned home from 14 months on the road. One of my stops on a road trip through Eastern United States was in Memphis, Tennessee. I’ve never been one for museums, but the National Civil Rights Museum in this city blew me away. It was, hands down, the best museum I have been to in the world, and so incredibly moving.

I am fortunate to have met …

I am fortunate to have met many amazing people around the world that have turned into some of my closest friends. But, at the end of the day, I am fortunate to have met all three of my top favorite musicians: Bono, Glen Hansard, and Damien Rice.

I would like to meet …

My future travel-loving husband 🙂
