5 Minutes With Green Global Travel

For McCool Travel’s 150th travel interview, I am thrilled to present Bret Love and Mary Gabbett of Green Global Travel. They were closing keynote speakers at TBEX Conference in Alabama in May, when they talked about the travel blogging business.  I hung out with them a little bit this past month in Ireland and am happy to share some of their travel tips and memories here.

Green Global Travel bio:

Along with his wife Mary Gabbett, Bret Love is the co-founder of ecotourism/conservation website Green Global Travel and digital media marketing agency Green Travel Media. Together the couple has traveled to more than 40 countries on six continents around the world, sharing their eco-adventures via engaging stories, photos, and videos. Their freelance work has appeared in over 100 different outlets, including the Atlanta Journal Constitution, American Way, Destination MarriottNational Geographic, and Yahoo Travel.

I AM FORTUNATE TO HAVE MET …

I was a culture-focused journalist for 17 years before I became a blogger. So I’ve interviewed over a thousand celebrities ranging from politicians (Jimmy Carter, Al Gore) and thought leaders (Ted Turner, Jane Goodall) to chefs (Anthony Bourdain) and music/film icons (Chuck D, Martin Scorsese, etc). I’m fortunate to have met all of them, because each of them taught me lessons about life, creativity, and/or business.

I WOULD LIKE TO MEET …

Everyone! I love hearing and sharing stories, and truly believe that everyone has a story to tell. You just have to ask the right questions!  😉
