My wife and I stayed at Hyatt Tysons Corner in Northern Virginia this past June. The marketing team at Hyatt Tysons Corner invited us to experience their relaxed luxury property and share our thoughts with the McCool Travel and Fun in Fairfax VA audiences.
Here are some reasons to experience relaxed luxury at Hyatt Tysons Corner, for your next visit to Northern Virginia or even Washington, DC.
Hyatt Tysons Corner: The Rooms
Being a relatively new property (less than two years old), the Hyatt Tysons room and furnishings are modern, comfortable, clean, and cool. The personalized welcome message on the television screen and sleek lounge chair impressed me. Oversized sofas and pillows make snuggling up and watching movies an ideal staycation or vacation treat. My room had one of the most luxurious bathrooms and powerful showers I can remember. Wish my stay was longer than one night.

Hyatt Tysons Corner: Location
Your Hyatt stay can be carless because the hotel is about 100 yards from the Tysons Corner stop of the DC Metro Silver line. If you drive, parking is convenient, in a secured section of the mall parking structure—follow the website directions and onsite signs. The Hyatt lobby connects to Tysons Corner—the mega mall—so you can get your shopping groove on and not even see the light of day.
Hyatt Tysons Corner: Amenities
An indoor pool provides a way to relax after a day of shopping. Visit the 24 hour fitness center to work up an appetite for Barrel & Bushel (see below). Hyatt Tysons Corner is a spectacular venue for meetings, and regularly hosts weddings and events. A shuttle is available to take you anywhere within one mile of the property. You can also ride Metro to other parts of Northern Virginia and into Washington, DC.
Hyatt Tysons Corner: Barrel & Bushel
Barrel & Bushel is located on the ground floor of Hyatt Tysons Corner and unlike most many hotel restaurants Barrel & Bushel is amazing. They utilize the area’s freshest, seasonal ingredients to craft tempting classic American dishes. Choose from the sophisticated-rustic dining room or the patio opening to the Tysons Corner Center courtyard. In either location, definitely order the remarkable pork belly appetizer. The scallop and blue crab entrees were super fresh and delicious.

Barrel & Bushel also serves breakfast and lunch, and many locals dined there during our Sunday brunch visit.

Hyatt Tysons Corner: Celeb Sighting
Should you be feeling particularly splurgy, book the Presidential Suite at Hyatt Tysons Corner. During our quick stay, we toured the unoccupied Presidential Suite. We learned that many famous celebs stay here, including a recent US Vice President just before inauguration, big name music acts, and more. Alas, the suite only saw me for a few minutes.

We were hosted guests of Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner but this content is carefully crafted with the McCool Travel audience in mind. Check here for best rates at Hyatt Tysons.
Great location; beautiful room; fantastic looking food…a great review!
Thank you, Marilyn.
Those biscuits looked amazing at the Hyatt Tyson’s restaurant. I’m becoming a big fan of biscuits, lately, so that scored points for me with this hotel review. 😉
That biscuit was soooooo good. Glad to have found something that we can chat about. Biscuit road trip!
Thanks for this review of Hyatt Tysons Corner, Charles. I do have plans to get to the DC area sometime soon, so hopefully will be able to check it lout.
Oh, let me know when you are in DC and especially Northern Virginia. Maybe we can do a local chocolate road trip tour.
