Seven sensational reasons to experience relaxed luxury at The Ivy Hotel Baltimore Maryland include USA’s best tea service, amazing food, lavish luxury, and a fun neighborhood.

We stayed at The Ivy Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland in May, between their high demand periods of Mother’s Day and university graduation weekend.

The Ivy Hotel invited me to check out their relaxed luxury property and share thoughts with the McCool Travel audience.

P.S. I loved it.

Pretty cool, then, when you drive up and someone greets you by name. Another staff member escorts you to the main lobby where the concierge on duty pours you a glass of champagne or another drink of choice.

Our tea sommelier (teammelier?) studied everything there is to know about tea in Chicago. You know I had to try the hot chocolate tea AND the margarita tea.

At night, we sat in those cozy chairs down on the lawn next to a table fire. Champagne magically appeared in our hands. Thank you, Concierge! And how about those ivy walls? They are not fully covered yet. Show me a picture from your next visit.

  1. The Ivy Hotel is exactly what I was looking for. I’m going to surprise my husband. That’s a perfect place with romantic atmosphere.

  2. Well, I’m sold on The Ivy Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland. Sounds like a gem. I want that welcome snack, afternoon tea, and bathtub for sure! Is it related to The Ivy restaurant in Los Angeles?

  3. Thx for the super post, Charles. I’ve not yet been to Baltimore. But when I get there, I’d love to stay at the Ivy Hotel.

  4. Hi Charles,

The breakfast alone makes the place look sensational. Amazing.

I’ve not seen mango sliced that fine since visiting some stalls in Thailand. They do it right over there and The Ivy has it down pat too.

I am a meals guy; if the hotel has breakfast down, I am in.

I recall staying at the Novotel in Taipei and seeing like a hundred or more selections from the buffet style brekkie. At least it seemed like 100 plus. Awe-inspiring, and sold me on the chain.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Ryan

  5. The Ivy is an incredible hotel! It’s perfect for a Baltimore getaway, especially if you want to impress a loved one.
