Road Trip Travel: Southwestern North Carolina

Southwestern North Carolina offers excellent road trip opportunities to drive curvy roads, see incredible mountains and nature, and experience some great US waterfalls.

One basic itinerary is (from West Asheville) Pisgah Highway to Blue Ridge Parkway, to highway 74 into Sylva, highway 23 to Franklin, highway 28 north, to highway 143 and Cherohala Skyway into Tennessee.
