Beaumont Craft Beer
There are currently two Beaumont craft breweries but we expect more to open in the near future. Check back for updates but also please let us know if you visit a new Beaumont craft beer place before we do.
At Pour Brothers Brewery, be your own pour brother (or pour sister) and pour your own beer. This is actually a great thing because you can try everything without getting the stink eye from the staff.
After trying a few craft beer samples (or all of them), you can then pour your own pint—or half pints of two different ones. Want to blend two different flavors in the same mug? Go for it!
There are no rules at Pour Brothers (regarding the beer), other than you do actually have to pay for what you pour.
For hours, current beers, and other information, visit the Pour Brothers Brewery website.
Struggle Street Brewing features 20 taps with a bunch of fruity and eclectic combos. On my last visit, I had Maple Praline (amazing!), PB&J, Cookie Dough, and Dill flavored craft beers. But I tried sips of many other beers, too. So many amazing flavors. They even had a Cotton Candy Seltzer.
A food truck is parked outside Struggle Street but you can also bring outside food in.
For hours, current beers, and other information, visit the Struggle Street Brewing Facebook page.

Craft Beer Near Beaumont Texas
There are currently three craft breweries near Beaumont but as above we expect that there will soon be more.
Neches Brewing Company in Port Neches was the first craft brewery in southeast Texas. They make really great craft beer and we love their stouts, porters, and key lime pie ale. They carry dozens of canned beers from around the US in case none of the draft options interest you. Neches Brewing Co also frequently hosts local live music and a food truck outside.
For hours, current beers, and other information, visit the Neches Brewing Facebook page.
Buckstin Brewing in Nederland has award-winning craft beer but several people told me their pizza is absolutely phenomenal. And it is! I have only tried the Adios Amigo spicy pizza so you will have to tell me your favorite. Buckstin even has a dessert pizza, a chocolate chip cookie version with Blue Bell ice cream. Day-um their food is astounding.
But what about the beer?
The Buckstin farmhouse saison won a gold medal in the US Open Beer Championship and their blonde ale won a silver medal. But their Belgian dubbel (Chugboat Island) is my favorite here and in the entire area—and the only cans I have purchased. Can I get a case delivered to me?
For hours, current beers, and other information, visit the Buckstins Brewing website.
Rikenjacks Brewing Company in Vidor is an outpost of their popular flagship location 50 miles away in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Here at Rikenjacks South they serve local craft beer from 16 taps and cocktails from a full bar (excellent margaritas!). And from their food menu, we prefer the tacos (catfish or Gulf shrimp), alligator boulettes, and Cajun charcuterie board.
For hours, menu, and other information, visit the Rikenjacks Brewing website.
But there is much more than Beaumont craft beer to enjoy on our Beaumont Area Beverage Trail!
Pour 09 Bar and Rooftop is the first rooftop bar in southeast Texas. They have an enticing list of whiskeys, tequilas, champagnes, and other liquors, along with a food menu. Pour 09 craft cocktails are fun, clever, and tasty.
Drink and food specials are available from 3-7pm. And how about that name? The 409 loves the Pour 09!
Along with the below view from the rooftop, the first photo (martini wall mural) is from Pour 09. But we also love the Janis Joplin wall mural, super cool Area Code Pour 09 table (with an old school rotary telephone), and the fun swing table downstairs.
For hours, menu, and other information, visit the Pour 09 Bar & Rooftop website.
Stop in Lacuna Tequila Bar to satisfy your tequila hankering. Lacuna is the first tequila bar in southeast Texas—notice a lot of firsts in our collection?
Besides sampling from their extensive tequila menu, try $2.50 street tacos on Wednesday, $5 frozen margaritas on Wednesday and Friday, and mimosa flights and mimosa towers on the weekends.
For hours, menu, and other information, visit the Lacuna Tequila Bar website.
See also our video of a fun tequila drink we had here at Lacuna.
Logon Cafe and Pub is one of the most popular, fun, and best bars in Beaumont. Besides a full bar, Logon has great food and fun games. They also provide entertainment nearly every night—from local music to karaoke to stand up comedy.
US Gulf Coast Travel tip: explore the space and check out all the quirkiness, including ancient technology components under the bar table.
For hours, menu, and other information, visit the Logon Cafe & Pub website.
JW’s Patio is an excellent spot to meet friends for happy hour cocktails. Order a spicy margarita but ask your server to kick up the heat!
For hours, menu, and other information, visit the JW’s Patio website.
Other popular Beaumont dive bars and beverage spots include The West Bar and Grill, Madison’s, and Thirsty’s. Plus Tia Juanitas is always wonderful for margaritas.
