8 Great Scenes of Venice Italy
One view from our Venice apartment. A vacation rental is a better value than a hotel in Venice, because it costs less, has a kitchen (and washer and dryer), and is probably larger and in a better location.
We crossed the Rialto Bridge dozens of times but this picture was from the first visit. This group of students from England lined the entire side of the Rialto Bridge. It must have looked cool from the water.
Gondolas can be found on smaller canals all over Venice, in addition to the Gran Canal.
A quick and inexpensive to experience a gondola ride is a traghetto.
This was my first pizza with a fried egg and it might have been the best pizza I ever ate. I actually just scooped the egg off of it and devoured the rest of the remarkable pizza.
Our apartment was very near the Rialto Seafood Market.
And anytime you can take Venice Italy pictures with gondolas is a good time.
