6 Fun Margaritaville Locations for Cool and Happy Travelers

Our favorite fun Margaritaville locations in the United States and Caribbean are ideal whether you are looking for some sun and fun with your partner, fun vacation with your family, nature getaway, high roller trip, or even a business meeting.

Margaritaville is definitely a travel brand that aligns with the McCool Travel preference of “cool, happy, and fun places.” While I hope to eventually visit every Margaritaville location, here is my ongoing list of Margaritaville Resort and properties I have actually been to. With luck, it will be frequently updated.

Margaritaville Biloxi

In an area surrounded by casino resorts (Biloxi, Mississippi Gulf Coast) Margaritaville Biloxi is a family resort, with no casino. Even with no casino, Margaritaville Resort Biloxi scores high on the McCool Travel funness scale.

The Escape Family Entertainment Center features a golf simulator, bowling lanes, climbing wall, Cloud Coaster, adventure circuit, the world’s largest PacMan (cool), and hundreds of gaming opportunities.

McCool Travel tip: One of my favorite Margaritaville Biloxi features is the climbing wall extending from Level 2 into the Margaritaville Cafe on Level 5.

Level 5 features a lot more funness, with the main pool area, a sweet pool slide, and Margaritaville Cafe and Doe’s Eat Place (more upscale than Margaritaville Cafe). Doe’s serves amazing steaks, tamales, and craft cocktails.

McCool Travel tip: visit the decks on 10 and 12, especially at sunset (unless you are on a higher floor facing west).

Rooms are comfortable, with in room coffee makers, tropical pictures and colors, rock floors in the shower (nice), and more chillaxin’ touches and vibes.

Margaritaville Resort Gatlinburg

Put your Fins Up at the Best New Hotel 2019 as selected by readers of USA Today 10Best. Margaritaville Resort Gatlinburg offers the relaxed luxury of other Margaritaville properties but with convenient access and proximity to the natural wonder of the Great Smokies National Park.

Spend a half day exploring Cades Cove, an afternoon back at the St. Somewhere Spa (try the Muscadine moonshine pedicure), and then savor a Perfect Margarita and some tacos at the License to Chill lobby bar.

Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Florida

Stretching from Hollywood Beach and the Atlantic Ocean to the intracoastal waterway, Margaritaville in Hollywood, Florida (just south of Ft. Lauderdale airport) is a true destination resort. I only stayed one night but could definitely commit to being here for longer (maybe a month).

Three giant pool areas, rental bicycles (with parrot horns), the amazing beachfront, and the relaxed luxury lobby (featuring an oversized flip-flop statue) are some of my favorite features.

Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort has many of the flagship Margaritaville dining and beverage spots. Margaritaville Restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating (overlooking the pool). 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar has gorgeous colorful Adirondack chairs in the sand. One unique spot here is the relaxed casual upscale dining concept called JWB Prime Steak and Seafood.

Margaritaville Tulsa

Margaritaville Casino and Restaurant Tulsa opened in 2016 as an addition to River Spirit Casino Resort (which opened in 2009). Two separate but adjoining casinos appeal to diverse audiences—Margaritaville even has a non-smoking casino section.

Dining options include Margaritaville Restaurant (with a volcano show and oversized blender), 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar, Fireside Grill, Visions (buffet), Johnny Rockets, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Landshark Pool Bar, and Scoreboard Sports Bar.

I love the hotel’s rooms vibrant Margaritaville colors. I stayed in a corner Signature Suite, featuring a king bed (standard rooms have queen beds), a separate living room, and more than twice the space of standard rooms. The oversized bathroom includes a tub overlooking the Arkansas River, a large shower with brightly colored tile, elegant wooden floor, and luxury amenities and towels.

Camp Margaritaville RV Resort Auburndale

Camp Margaritaville Auburndale opened in January 2022 and Parrotheads everywhere are thrilled by this newest of Margaritaville locations. Luxury RV spots, complete with personal tiki bars and other funness amenities, are bordered by five dozen cabana cabins (for non-rv owners). Combined those with the large tiki hut bar, fire pits, waterpark, and other #FinsUp spots here, and the Margaritaville vibes are non stop.

Margaritaville Montego Bay Jamaica

The Margaritaville in Montego Bay Jamaica is a super fun property. It is part of the Margaritaville Caribbean group and there are four other properties on Jamaica to visit—Air Margaritaville at Sangster Airport, Negril, and Ocho Rios.

The Margaritaville Montego Bay location opened in 2000. I visited it during a Jamaica port stop from a Carnival Caribbean cruise and enjoyed lunch and a couple of rum drinks. This place is what Margaritaville is all about; sun, fun, and rum: bright colors, happy music and times.

Big catamarans frequently visit, dropping off dozens of revelers for a quick drink or lunch. Plunge into the turquoise Caribbean Sea water from the 120 foot water slide and then bounce around on the water trampoline.

After working up an appetite, take a break for some food and drink. The manager enthusiastically recommended the jerk chicken; it was spicy and delicious. This is a prime spot for glorious sunsets and lively Montego Bay nightlife. The manager told me, “Thursday and Saturday nights are crazy. We own that.” Note: nearby Pier One owns Wednesday and Friday nights.

A fine dining French restaurant Marguerites is next door. The casino across the street is being remodeled and will offer 48 hotel rooms.

Myers Beach, and Margaritaville Panama City Beach Resort.

There are even Margaritaville residential neighborhoods, where you can live full time. I just might. They include Margaritaville One Particular Harbour in Anna Maria Sound Florida, Margaritaville Resort Orlando, Margaritaville One Particular Harbour at The Point in Nassau Bahamas, and Latitude Margaritaville—locations in Hilton Head, Daytona Beach, and Watersound, Florida. Latitude Margaritaville is the active adult community in paradise concept.
